Puppy Level 2

puppy, labrador, puppies, training, puppy trainingPuppies enter the adolescent period around 6 months of age.  This is a challenging time to live and work with a dog.  They are growing both physically and emotionally and begin to challenge the norms they have accepted in the past.  A strong foundation of communication and trust is the recipe for getting through this period without too many headaches.  Puppy Level 2 is designed to strengthen the communication that was built in Puppy Start Right and help you begin to develop strategies, management techniques, and realistic expectations for your pup.  Adolescence can last until 2 years of age in some breeds.  Starting early and being consistent with your training will make a huge difference.

We're so lucky to have Rebecca Roy, CPDT to lead both our Puppy Start Right and Puppy Level 2 Class.  Rebecca has been working with dogs and their families for 8 years.    She recently returned to Maine after some time away and we're excited to have her on the team!
